Being a Raiders Manager requires commitment, time and effort but it’s a rewarding role.
How you run your team is a reflection of the Club, so we ask that Raiders managers do it the ‘Raiders Way’ and adhere to the Code of Conduct for Managers (Download below).
Always remember…. that the best managers are not the ones who win leagues and cups. The best managers at Raiders are those who maximise the enjoyment and the participation of the kids in their team, and ensure the development of every player in their team. And… Yes… we want you to win games!
Within this section, we have provided a guide for all Managers, new and long-serving, and is a compilation of the best practices and “how to’s” that Raiders managers have learned from experience. It answers most of the questions that new managers ask when they take over a team.
Managing a team is enormous fun and is very rewarding. If you need help…. ask your Age Group Coordinator and if he or she can’t help you he or she can refer your question to a Committee Member. That’s what they are there for!
